βLove Island USAβ Season 8 has come to an end with a newly crowned pair of winners and the long-awaited jump in the infamously underused villa pool.
Bryce Dettloff and Trinity Tatum were crowned this seasonβs winners, as determined by viewer votes. Fans had a four-hour window on Friday, July 10, to cast their votes for the winning pair from the final four couples.
The runners-up were Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt, with Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea placing third and Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou in fourth.
Host Ariana Madix announced the winning pair at the end of July 12βs almost two-hour finale.

βI feel like Iβm in a dream right now,β Bryce said after being crowned the winners. βIβm walking up here. Iβm like, βIs this f—— real? Like, what the hell is going on?ββ
When asked what they wanted to say to each other, they expressed their love and appreciation.
βIβm just so overwhelmed. I never would have expected in a million years to be in this position right now,β Trinity said, with Brynce adding, βIβm just so grateful to be with you. Like, I do love you so much, and every day feels so special to you, and I canβt wait for life outside of this.β
Trinity also got emotional and cried as she couldnβt believe the experience she just had. βIβm just really glad I got to meet Bryce,β she said through tears.
βYou have won, as a couple, $100,000,β Ariana told the paid, congratulating them on being crowned the winners.
During the finale, the final four couples each went on a romantic date together before giving their final speeches, a βLove Island USAβ hallmark that involves formally stating oneβs intentions and plans for life outside the villa.
Bryce and Trinity first coupled up in Season 8βs very first episode, the June 2 premiere. After initial reservations about their age gap β Trinity is 22, while Bryce turned 30 inside the villa β they quickly locked in on their coupling. In Episode 24, Bryce formally asked Trinity to be his girlfriend, and she happily accepted.
