The stars of the โFrozen 3,โ the third installment of the successful Disney franchise, capped off the D23 expo in Anaheim, California on Aug. 14 with a breathtaking performance.
During the event, in which Disney shared several updates and details about their upcoming projects, Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, who voice Anna and Elsa respectively, sang a new version of โFrozen Heart.โ And the two absolutely crushed it.
The event showcased several different upcoming projects including the live-action โTangledโ and โThe Bluey Movie.โ During the eventโs grand finale, the โFrozenโ portion of the event, Josh Gad, who voices lovable snowman Olaf, performed a new song entitled โOoooh, Samantha,โ in honor of his characterโs first crush.
Disney also revealed that in the upcoming film, which will hit theaters on November 24, 2027, Anna is getting married to Kristoff, voiced by Jonathan Groff. Thereโs also a new villain, whose powers are said to rival that of Annaโs. The updates come almost seven years since โFrozen 2โ came out.
The fan expo this year was filled with developments. During the Marvel portion of the showcase, fans got a peek at the stars of the upcoming โX-Menโ film, thatโs scheduled for a 2028 debut.
In addition to Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Marvel introduced Kit Connor as Scott Summers, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue and Maya Boyd as Storm. Adam Driver will play villainous geneticist Mister Sinister.
โKevin and I had been talking for years about my joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and I think we finally found the perfect film,โ Driver told the audience through a video that played at the event.
