Alison Brie is back to blonde.
The former โCommunityโ star debuted her new hair color at the 2026 Daytime Beauty Awards red carpet in Los Angeles on Sept. 9.
โThey *do* have more fun?!โ Brie said on her Instagram story, commenting on her new look.
As someone complimented her blondest โdo to date, Brie revealed the reason for it.
โItโs for a part!โ Brie said in a TikTok shared by โEntertainment Tonight.โ
Just three days prior, Brie showcased her typical brunette look at the Creative Arts Emmys, where she supported her โGLOWโ co-star Betty Gilpin and her win for โWidowโs Bay.โ
This is not the first time sheโs sported lighter locks. In 2019, Brie teased a new role with a transformation reveal on Instagram.
โWhen your husband asks you to โgo blondeโ for a role… you say yes๐,โ she wrote in the caption.
That โroleโ turned out to be the 2020 horror thriller โThe Rental.โ
Now, blonder than ever, and with a few inches off, fans are wondering what role called for the change.
Brie has recently starred in โMasters Of The Universeโ and โTogether.โ
Brie is confirmed to appear in Peacockโs โCommunity: The Movie,โ which has experienced ongoing production delays. In the original sitcom, however, which ran from 2009 to 2015, Brieโs character Annie Edison was a brunette.
Brie is also in cahoots with Alice Stanley Jr. for a female-driven horror comedy, but is said to be making her directorial feature debut rather than any on-camera work.
