Who Went Home on ‘The Traitors: New Blood’ Tonight? Episode 6 Murders and Banishments

Warning: Spoilers from “The Traitors: New Blood” Episode 6 below.

The Traitors have managed to evade significant suspicion for most of the season, but their recent murder in plain sight has put two of them in jeopardy.

Last episode of “The Traitors: New Blood,” the Traitors were tasked with tossing an apple to one Faithful, marking them for death. When Joe attempted to murder Morgan, he was unsuccessful and was seen eating an apple by multiple players. Then, Tomica offered fruit to other players in the kitchen, leading Victor to suspect them both of being Traitors. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with viewers not knowing who the Traitors chose to murder.

In Episode 6, out Oct. 15, fans learned who took Joe’s bait. But the fallout from fruit-gate continued the entire episode as Victor tried to convince multiple players of his theory before presenting his case at the Round Table.

Was he successful? Read on to find out who was buried alive and who was banished in the newest episode of “The Traitors: New Blood.”

The Murder in Plain Sight Is Completed

Episode 6, “A Murder of Necessity,” picked up with Joe, Clyde, Niyyah and Mark lying in their graves, waiting to find out which one of them had been murdered. Before the reveal, Joe turned to Niyyah and confessed he had something to tell her.

“I had to sacrifice a Faithful. I had to throw an apple to someone. You’re going to get murdered,” he warned her. Niyyah began to cry as Joe apologized and said how much he loved her. “I’m not gonna come back,” she whispered to herself.

As the rest of the players learned her fate, Niyyah remained in her grave and her tombstone was set on fire. “I would’ve never done that to someone. It just really sucks that that was the end for me,” she says through tears in her last confessional. Regarding Joe’s last words to her, she adds, “I imagine he was clearing his conscience. That’s going to be a very big burden to carry.”

A Nostalgic Mission References Past Players

When the players arrived for the mission, host Alan Cumming ominously told them “don’t lose your heads.” He then explained that they would split into two groups. One group went to his laboratory where they found cases filled with the heads of players from past seasons, like Maura Higgins, Dorinda Medley, Boston Rob, Lisa Rinna, Phaedra Parks, Bob the Drag Queen and Parvati Shallow.

That group had to listen to screams from each of the alums and repeat them to the players outside. The second group then took the heads and matched them to the correct graves.

The players successfully completed the mission and added $20,000 to the prize pot.

A Traitor Is Under Fire at the Round Table

Victor began the Round Table discussion by proposing that someone close to Niyyah was a Traitor and murdered her. He said he thought the murder involved fruit and that Tomica was offering fruit to players the night Niyyah was killed.

Mark backed Tomica, suggesting she would never kill Niyyah. Focus shifted to Wyatt after Abby L., who has been wrong on multiple occasions, shared her theory that he is a Traitor. Wyatt briefly defended himself before Katie chimed in to throw suspicion on Michael. He explained that he has been being honest and using his skills as a lawyer to help the Faithfuls.

But then two of Michael’s closest alias, Clyde and Ben, turned on him, leading others players to question if Michael was recruited to be a Traitor. Abbey B. seemed to put the nail in Michael’s coffin when she tearfully explained why she thought he was a Traitor.

After a split vote, Alan revealed that Michael had been banished. “I came here so excited to play this game and I didn’t think I would meet so many people that I cared so much about. I have practiced criminal defense law for the past decade. I am the only person in this castle who knows exactly how to get away with murder,” he said, leading the players to think they voted correctly.

But Michael then continued, “Everyone who voted for me tonight, I’ll see you in court. Because I’m a Faithful.”

What Will Happen Next Week?

In Episode 7, which will air on NBC Oct. 22, Joe, Tomica and Katie will have to work harder to prevent the Faithfuls from discovering their true identities.

It seems Victor is still targeting Joe and Tomica, and the pressure is getting to them. Episode 6 ended with Tomica suggesting the trio murder Victor.

Find out next week what the group decides and if the three can survive another Round Table.
