The 2026 FIFA World Cup will continue to make history during the final match between reigning champs Argentina and Spain at New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19.

Now, the global soccer tournament is having its first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show, featuring star-studded performances. Superstars like Shakira and Madonna, among other big names, will join forces as the co-headliners of the 11-minute halftime show.

The 2026 World Cup final, which will see Spain take on reigning champions Argentina will also include a closing ceremony designed to honor the tournament’s 48 teams from around the world.

The closing ceremony will also feature special performances from stars like Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and Jennifer Hudson, among others.

Tom Cruise is set to make a special appearance during the closing ceremony, which begins an hour and a half before the final kickoff.

Who Is Performing During the Closing Ceremony?

The final game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup takes place July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium, better known as MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The match will feature a closing ceremony celebrating the tournament’s global spirit with performances by Post Malone, Tony winner and Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger, British pop star Robbie Williams, Italian pop star Laura Pausini and American streamer and musician IShowSpeed.

Oscar winner Tom Cruise will make a special appearance during the closing ceremony, which begins at 1 p.m. ET, an hour and a half before the game’s kickoff at 3 p.m. ET.

Jennifer Hudson will be on hand to sing the U.S. national anthem just before the match.
