Keke Palmer and Sean Evans have been going viral for their flirty interactions with each other for years. But are the two actually dating?
The actor and the βHot Onesβ host were first linked together in November 2023 after Evans revealed during an appearance on Amelia Dimoldenbergβs βChicken Shop Dateβ that Palmer was the one guest he has had a crush on. Palmer previously stopped by βHot Onesβ in 2017 and 2021.

He, in turn, was interviewed by the actor on the May 26 episode of her βBaby, This is Keke Palmerβ podcast, leading to comments about their undeniable chemistry on social media. A few weeks later, they were photographed getting dinner together.
While sitting on the panel for Spotifyβs Conversations That Channel Culture talk at Cannes Lions on June 23, Palmer finally addressed their rumored romance.
Podcast host Jay Shetty asked Palmer if she was βserious about Sean Evans,β People reported.
Palmer replied, βWe hanging out, you know what I mean?β
She added, βFirst of all, I love Sean Evans β I love Sean, hey Sean. Thatβs my guy… You never know what can arise from there. We just take it day by day. One wing at a time, so to speak.β

Fans in the comments were already thinking the two would be a good match.

While on Amelia Dimoldenbergβs βChicken Shop Date,β he was asked to name the one guest he had a crush on.
After he had Dimoldenberg guess a few names, he shared his answer.

Palmer brought up the crush when she appeared on βHot Onesβ for a third time in September 2025.
Before she mentioned his comment, she complimented him on his physique while they were eating wings.
βYour body looks so nice and trim. I feel like for you to have this kind of gig, I donβt know how you do it,β she said. βYou look great.β
He quipped, βYou just have to run away from the wings.β
Palmer waited until the last moments of the interview to discuss the crush.

Palmer and Evans chatted about their many sit-downs when he appeared on the βBaby, This is Keke Palmerβ podcast in May.
At the end of the interview, they played Twister and sat on the floor to answer questions from Kekeβs mom, Sharon Palmer, off camera.
Her mom mentioned that Evans grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and that Palmer comes from Robbins, Illinois.
βWhen I was growing up, a kid from Crystal Lake wouldnβt have been seen with a kid from Robbins,β Palmerβs mom noted.
Keke Palmer quickly replied, βD—, is Crystal Lake where the rich folks areβ before she and Evans burst into laughter. She placed her hand on his knee and she touched his back.
βI got to take my a– to Crystal Lake. It sounds nice over there!β Keke Palmer said.
Evans sweetly responded, βAny time you want!β
Keke Palmer then said, βShout out to Mr. and Mrs. Evans,β referring to the hostβs parents.
But he misinterpreted her and smoothly said, βOh, I thought you were talking about us.β
