Mom Gets Her Waist-Length Hair Cut Into a Bixie, Sees Results for the First Time Live on Air

Pritsana went from waist-length hair to a “bixie” cut, a cross between a pixie and a bob. McMillan said the inspiration for Pritsana’s bixie came from celebrities like Zendaya, who’s currently rocking a short but flowing haircut.

For Pritsana, McMillan said he went all in. Before getting into any styling, he chopped off an entire ponytail.

“I did a ponytail, and just chopped the whole ponytail off,” McMillan said. “Her hair bounced right up. She’s got this great texture.”

Pritsana’s sister and husband joined the fun, as they watched her walk into the studio and saw her new ‘do before Pritsana did.

“Oh my god,” her husband said. “Wow, I mean, she’s always been stunning to me, but this is next level. I’m floored.”

Jillian

For Jillian, who is hard of hearing and wears a hearing aid in her left ear, hair has always been important for her confidence.

“I would want to wear my hair down all the time and keep it hidden,” Jillian said. “But as I’m older, I feel a lot more confident, and I don’t care what other people think about me.”

With a new job and her 28th birthday coming up, she’s ready for a change that commemorates a new chapter.

Like Pritsana, Jillian had not seen her new haircut beforehand.

“Oh my god, I love it!” Jillian said. “Thank you!”
