Margaret Qualley’s Representative Speaks Out After Reports of Jack Antonoff Split

A representative for Margaret Qualley slammed reports of the actor’s split from musician Jack Antonoff, after the Bleachers frontman was spotted attending Taylor Swift’s recent wedding alone.

In a statement shared with NBC News on July 10, Qualley’s rep said that the “narratives running in the press about Margaret and Jack are categorically untrue.”

Qualley’s camp also denied speculation of cheating in the couple’s marriage.

“There are no trust issues. There was no infidelity or anything outside of respect and partnership in this relationship,” the representative said in the statement about the couple, who have been married since August 2023. “They have deep love and care for one another.”

Antonoff, 42, was photographed alone while heading to New York’s Madison Square Garden for the July 3 wedding of close friend and collaborator Swift. Soon after, reports began to circulate that the he and Qualley, 31, had separated. Some fans also noticed that photos of the couple’s wedding had been removed from Qualley’s Instagram page. And many others pointed out that her Instagram handle — which had previously been @isimostar, a reference to the Bleachers song “Isimo,”— had been changed in April to @sarahmargaretqualley23.

Qualley’s rep cautioned against believing the speculation, saying in the statement that “there are only two people in this marriage.”

“The sources who are talking to the press and commenting on their relationship are not people who know them,” the representative said in the statement. “Please respect their privacy.”

The pair were first linked in August 2021 after they were spotted kissing in Brooklyn. Months later, they attended the 2022 Critics Choice Awards, where Qualley was nominated for her performance in limited series “Maid.” They were seen together again at the Grammys that same year, when Antonoff took home the producer of the year award.

At their 2023 wedding in New Jersey, the pair packed the house with a list of star-studded guests that included Swift, Lana Del Ray, Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz.
