The โMean Girlsโ star, who played main character Cady Heron in the 2004 comedy, shared a video on social media, recreating the fan favorite scene in which Cady has an interaction with her school crush Aaron Samuels.
Though Jonathan Bennett, who played Aaron, isnโt featured in the clip, the video still sends us back to the early aughts.
The video shows Lohan sitting at a school desk behind another individual.
โOn October 3rd, he asked me what day it was,โ Lohan says in a voiceover thatโs since become an internet classic.
โItโs October 3rd,โ Lohan says in the clip just as she did in the film, before winking at the camera. Of course, it was posted on Oct. 3.
For years, the scene has been a source of internet fodder, with fans recreating it annually. Itโs popularity has also given rise to whatโs now known as โMean Girls Day.โ Lohan herself has observed the cult holiday in the past, posting stills from the famous scene on Oct. 3.
Comedian Tim Meadows, who played Principal Duvall in the comedy, released a skit just ahead of the holiday on social media in the form of a fake personal injury attorney ad.
