Kylie Kelce Shares What Made Jason So Emotional at Travis and Taylor Swift’s Wedding

There’s a reason why Jason Kelce was extra emotional at his brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding — and the answer is really sweet.

Kylie Kelce shared some insight after her husband recently shared that he “probably cried more at this wedding than I cried at my own wedding, which probably is not acceptable.”

Jason Kelce served as his brother’s best man during the star-studded July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden. During his chat with Philadelphia radio station 94WIP in July, Jason Kelce jokingly added that wife Kylie Kelce was most likely “not happy” he cried more at this wedding than his own.

But how did Kylie Kelce really feel? She answered that very question and provided more details about the celebration on the Aug. 6 episode of her “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast.

“Don’t worry, my husband cried plenty at his own wedding, regardless of what his comments were recently,” she said, before joking about how she would have reacted if she didn’t get the reaction she wanted from her husband.

“Guys, think about this. First of all, there was a moment in time where I said if he didn’t tear up when I started walking down the aisle, I would go back and start again, knowing that someone would have obviously punched him in the nose between me restarting,” she said. “And he would have been crying when I walked down the aisle.”

On a serious note, however, she told listeners to “consider the context” of what the retired Eagles player said because there’s more to the story.

“Obviously, my husband cried during our wedding. He did,” she said. “I think that goes without being said because he’s cried a couple other places because he feels his emotions, OK.”

She continued by adding that “more importantly,” Jason Kelce cried at his brother’s wedding “for many reasons.”

“It was touching. It was very loving to see all of the things that were happening,” she said, pointing out one very specific moment during Travis Kelce and Swift’s wedding. “But take this into consideration, because no one’s thinking about this, think about getting to watch your four daughters be flower girls. OK? That’s all the information you get.”

Jason Kelce previously confirmed in an interview that his little girls — Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, 1 — were flower girls.

“They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities and Travis and Taylor love them,” he told the Reno Gazette Journal.

Kylie Kelce echoed the sentiments, sharing on her podcast that it was also a sentimental moment for her.

“It was emotional and he was not the only adult crying in our family,” she said, adding that she was also “guilty.” “Mmkay? Come on. Be for real.”

She concluded her wedding talk by quipping that she has given her husband “s— about (his comments), and yes, I will continue to, ‘cause that is my right as his wife.”
