Mitteโs death came as a shock to many, including his family. His mother Dyna Carriere told NBC News that the actor had no history of mental illness and never saw a therapist. He had been going through a difficult emotional time recently, but he made no indication that he might end his life, she said.
โFor the last three months, Iโd been offering for him to go to therapy, trying to get him to go there, but he was like, โNo, Iโve got it. Itโs OK. Iโm handling it,โโ she told NBC News.
