Kelly Clarkson went big for her final Kellyoke and per usual, it did not disappoint.
Ahead of the last episode of โThe Kelly Clarkson Showโ on Aug. 31, the host and singer treated fans to a rendition of the โmost requestedโ song sheโs received.
The song in question? โGoldenโ from the hit Netflix animated movie โKPop Demon Hunters.โ
The clip begins with Clarkson belting out the first verse of the song, โI was a ghost, I was alone,โ before transitioning to the Korean lyrics.
During the final episode, she shared that they taped the performance a few days prior.
The multi-Grammy winner perfectly nails the high notes and makes the song her own as her band accompanies her in the back.
The video ends with Clarkson saying, โThat is a very high song.โ She added, โI was like, go for it,โ and made a face.
Clarkson definitely went for it and the fans loved it.
โKelly *can do it all* Clarkson strikes again!!!!โ one person commented, while another added, โIs there anything she canโt sing?โ
Fans also applauded and were impressed that she sang in Korean.
โAlso, as a K-pop fan, thank you for taking the time to learn the Korean and including it in the song instead of skipping over it! Amazing!!! It sounded AMAZING!!โ one person wrote.
โOf course Kelly Clarkson made sure the Korean she sang was as accurate as possible for a non native speaker. Thank you!โ read another personโs comment.
โThe Kelly Clarkson Showโ is coming to an end after seven seasons. Clarkson first announced the news in February, sharing that this decision โwill allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.โ
Clarkson shared 12-year-old daughter River Rose and 10-year-old son Remy with her late ex-husband Brandon Blackson, who died in August 2025.
In a TODAY interview shortly after she announced the end of her daytime talk show, Clarkson told Carson Daly why the timing felt right.
โI think everybody probably gets the timing,โ she said Feb. 20. โOur family life, the dynamic changed a bit, and it has changed for a minute now. You got kids, weโve all got kids, and itโs one of those things when you kind of start seeing life as how precious it is, too. Itโs like, โYou know what, Iโm really busy.โโ
Clarkson has still kept busy with her Vegas residency, as well as continued to coach on โThe Voice.โ Sheโs returning for Season 30, alongside Adam Levine and first-time coaches Riley Green and Queen Latifah, which premieres Sept. 21.
