Meghan Markle is feeling the love of her milestone birthday.
The Duchess of Sussex turned 45 on Aug. 4 and celebrated by sharing some snaps and videos of how she spent her day. In a black-and-white photo posted on Instagram, Meghan is seen jumping into a round pool with about a dozen balloons in hand.
She wears a black one-piece bathing suit and sunglasses as she throws her arms up in the air. The second photo in the post is her splashing into the water.
βThank you for the birthday love!β she captioned the post, adding a red balloon emoji.
She shared the same photos and message on her Instagram story.
In addition to her Instagram post, Meghan also posted two videos on her story. One is of her in white pants with a shirt that reads βItβs Giving Mrs.β
She also wears a happy birthday crown as she dances around her kitchen. Giant balloons, some heart shaped, are on the counter.
As she grooves in her kitchen, it appears bacon is cooking in a pan next to a plate of bagels and toppings.
In the second Instagram story video, Meghan laughs as she and Prince Harry struggle to keep party hats on their dogs, beagle Mia and black Labrador Pula.
Mia is seen laying down with a party hat on her head, but unsuccessfully keeping it on.
βOh dear,β Harry can be heard in the background.
Pula is also nearby, wagging her tail with the party hat in her mouth. Ultimately, Meghan opts to remove the hats from her pups.
Meghanβs birthday comes weeks after she posted photos from her summer holiday. Her vacation pics included a visit to her late mother-in-law Princess Dianaβs childhood home, as well as trips to the beach and quality time with husband Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The family traveled to the U.K. in July, with Harry attending a series of events to promote the 2027 Invictus Games. They then reunited with King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who hosted the foursome at Highgrove House, their private residence in Gloucestershire, England, Buckingham Palace confirmed to NBC News.
This marked the first time the king had seen his grandchildren in four years.
