Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has been soaking up the sun, enjoying the company of her family, and remembering loved ones this summer.
In a series of photos posted July 23 on Instagram, the former Meghan Markle shared a look at her recent vacation with husband Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Among the snaps include a black-and-white photo of her and Harry laughing during a meal, Harry flipping Lilibet in the pool, Archie in the pilot seat of an airplane and Meghan with her pup.
However, there is one photo in particular that has captured peopleβs attention: the family visiting Princess Dianaβs childhood home.
The photo shows Harry and Archie carrying large bouquets, with Lilibet behind them as they walk down a grassy yard. The location is believed to be taken at Althorp, the late royalβs family estate.
Located in Northamptonshire, England, the Spencer family 13,000 acre estate is where Princess Diana is buried on a secluded island in the Round Oval lake. While the estate is open to the public, the burial site is off-limits.
Princess Dianaβs brother and Harryβs uncle, Charles Spencer, lives at Althorp, meaning the family could have spent time with him while at the estate. On the Althorp website, it notes that the establishment was closed July 10 and 11.
Earlier this month, Harry traveled to the U.K. for a series of public events, including promoting the 2027 Invictus Games. He was joined by Meghan and their kids, who did not make any public appearances.
The family, however, did reunite with King Charles III, marking the first time he had seen his grandchildren in four years.
Buckingham Palace confirmed to NBC News on July 10 that the king and Queen Camilla hosted Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet at Highgrove House, their private residence in Gloucestershire, England.
The last time the children saw their grandfather was in 2022 when they attended Queen Elizabeth IIβs Platinum Jubilee, celebrating her 70 years on the throne.
Another snap that is making people nostalgic is one where the former βSuitsβ star is wearing a black one-piece bathing suit and watching her family getting into the ocean.
The shot was reminiscent of Princess Dianaβs previous beach vacations, with her wearing similar swimwear.
Over the years, Meghan has honored her late mother-in-law with her style choices. Some have been more meaningful, including wearing Princess Dianaβs jewelry, including her butterfly earrings and bracelet.
Other times, Meghanβs past outfits have drawn comparisons to Harryβs motherβs looks. One instance was in 2020 when the former actor wore a green dress and fascinator, with people comparing it to Dianaβs 1982 Trooping the Colour outfit.
